UL Certified Firefighting Pipes
Firefighting pipe is a type of normal carbon steel pipe. It is used to convey specialized fire suppression agent such as chemical liquids, high pressure, extreme temperature steam, water and gas. Generally, it is red in color but light-wall pipes have a galvanized exterior for silver appearance. Red pipe is limited to wet pipe sprinkler systems only and galvanized pipes are allowed in wet and dry sprinkler.
IIL Firefighting pipes are certified as European Conformity Standards (CE) and Underwriters Laboratories (UL), and are manufactured in accordance with the highest international standards (ASTM A53 Sch. 40, Grade A & B and ASTM A795).
IIL Fire Fighting pipes are available in nominal diameters of 1/2” to 12” with thickness range from 2.77mm to 10.31mm.
